Dall Sheep? With a Bow?
HOW? I drew an archery permit for a Dall Sheep for this Oct. I have talked to some of the members of the North American Wild Sheep Foundation and have some areas to scout out. I am going up for three days this weekend to an area that has been suggested. Question: what kind of habitat am I looking for? If I find sheep this early, how do I figure their migration to winter range. I have been told I need to watch them all season til hunting season, and I have some time to spend up in the hills but not enough time to get up there as often as that. I have been studying a couple of books and they are great. But I would like some input from the board of any advice or suggestions to best take advantage of this opportunity. Thanks in advance.
