Word of warning, BE PREPARED TO GET THE CRAP POUNDED OUT OF YOU! Bob had one for sale at the shop. Fellow ordered a crown custom, paid $12,000 for it. For sale at the shop for $8,000. He fired it twice, and it knocked his lights out.

im looking at the deluxe model for 2300$ with accubrake:fighting0007:

A .460 Weatherby wouldn't be on my list for any animal, but if you really want something that has 5 times the recoil energy of a 300 Win Mag (both in 10 pound rifles), and runs at $130/20, be my guest.
I would say that you have a bad case of magnumitis, you may want to go to the doctor to get that checked out. |
It might be a little light for black bears.........

I have to agree with bullelk1...have you thought about the .577 Tyrannosaur? Nice video clips on youtube to give you an idea of what you should expect...just search for "Big Gun"...
How many tons did you say that bear/hog/elk weighed? |

How many tons did you say that bear/hog/elk weighed? 460wbymag why would want so much gun for elk & bear????? I think some of the guys that hunt elk {I dont}could steer you in a better direction. Good luck |
Are you trying to tenderize and kill an elk at the same time?

Speed limit is 55mph and plenty of guys have Porsches.
If you want it, go for it. |
You can hunt anything & everything in the world with a 460-Weatherby Magnum.
I prefer the 458-Lott; because it is not a magnum.:s3: |
