What state were you hunting I found that alsmost all landowners hate them too ust wondering which area wasn't to frendly to out of towners

Thats about as vague and generalized as it gets. Unless you knew everyone in the area there is no way to possibly know this.

In my family there are landowners of significant hunting land. I suspect that there is a very very short list of peole who have stopped to ask to hunt that have been turned down.

Its "non-factoids" like this that keep people from asking permission.
