Best state park for...
 

...i was just curious to what the best national park is for viewing various wildlife species??? species such as muley, elk, moose, wolves and anything of that sort....in the west obviously...looking for a park to wildlife watch next summer :s4:

If you have time to get out of the car and do some hiking on the trails it is worth it! Nothing like hiking in grizzly country!

If you are going to Yellowstone anyway ya may as well go thru Estes Park in CO and hit up Rocky Mtn. National too. Then find your way thru North Park CO from south to north. This will give you about all there is to see for wildlife in this half the country including, but not limited to elk, moose, deer, bears, antelope.........

Grand Teton National as well..

I don't mean to highjack the thread, but when is "Spring" in Yellowstone? Where I live it's March, but I suspect May/June there? I've been wanting to go, and want to avoid the crowds, but would like to find passable roads. Thanks for any help.

FYI I was in Grand Teton this October, and it is beautiful. My only regret is I did not have time to fish.
