I NEED HELP!!!!!
 

Well last night was spent under a big pine tree in eastern oregon. I saw 4 really nice bulls 300-330 class bulls And I snuck to within 75 yards full camo, cover spray, etc.The hill the bulls were on was at an angle that they couldnt see me, I couldnt see them. So I spent the night there hoping to get some good video, I woke up with 2 of the bulls waking 15 yards feeding towards me. I was pinned down and camera was in its case. I got no footage. My wife chewed me out because she didnt know where I was,She called the police she was so worried. Is any One else this insane when it comes to getting good footage. This was on public land in eastern oregon, was not a winter range seeing how there is no winter.

You might concider caring a cell phone with ya next time, in case you decide not to come home, let her know why.I know most of us go out of doors to escape the phone, fax, computer, etc. but, in that situation, it would've saved your wife about 10 years of worrying.Nothing, really insane about staying out, but all most insane if your wife was expecting ya back at a certain time!

I'm going to use that story the next time I don't plan on being home....I'm sure my wife will wonder what the heck I was doing in Oregon...but it's worth a shot!

Hmmm,
Not nearly so insane for footage, BUT...
I could see me doing such a thing on a hunt.. Have in fact, burt I let the wife know in advance I was going to.. I get that fanatical about the actual hunt, and during the season my lady knows to esxspect me when I get there, and not before. ( which could be bad i suppose, cause she would wait to call for help for at least 24 hrs. if I gets hurt in the beggining of a hunt I am in for a long lay in the woods! )

Just my uneducated opinion!
