Yeah, first choice muzzleloader. I' m just so glad after I got shut out in Wyoming and Montana this year

Yeah Baby.....I checked a littel earlier and found that I received my muzzleloader first choice as well.

Now, if I draw a mulie tag next week, I' ll defintely be pumped....i

Well I added to my preference point collection , hunting in the US will be outlawed by the time I draw a trophy area

Got my cow tag for second rifle. Hopefully I can connect with that one and a nice bull with the unlimited archery.:D

I' m in gmu 7. Now I' ll have to wait for the leftover tags to come out so I can go get a cow tag too.

I' m hoping that I don' t shoot a cwd elk, I did 3 seasons ago, that sucks!

Yahoo! Got mine. Either sex elk in 67, 3rd season. Just waiting on a buck tag for the same unit and season. Man, but there are a lot of BIG bucks there. For you guys on who will be on the south end of the Uncompahgre Plateau, I ran into (almost literally) somewhere between 500-700 elk in a 2 mile stretch of road while turkey hunting a couple of weeks ago. They appeared to have wintered well. I envy you if you have a tag down there!

Congrats to all that drew!! I put a couple of points in my bag for next season, but I can' t complain cuz that' s what I put in for. I was lucky in the march Montana draw.

Went for points here myself to. Cant draw a decent tag if you dont plan for the future.

Enjoy MT there Dreamin. I made it there for 2 weeks last season with a couple great guys off the board here. We had a blast.

For all of you that put in for preference points, or didn' t draw, and received a preference point, HANG IN THERE! I finally drew a tag for the early elk rifle hunt in 201. It took 14 preference points, but I finally got it. Anyone with information concerning that area, I' d certainly like to hear from you.

Our party drew first season either sex in Unit 72. I can' t wait for October!

Got my second choice, put my first as 201 so that I can someday get hunt there in Brown' s Hole. Preference Points for Bear, Antelope, Deer, should have put in for Moose but felt I had better things to do with $248.25 at the time.

I got mine as well. 3rd rifle season Unit 444. 4th year in a row, got elk the previous 3 so I hope to be batting .1000 come Nov!
