THe marks would be higher up for something that can briefly stand on two legs (bears).
Perhaps a cougar or coyote?

Were you at home when this bear did this? obviously you were sleeping or gone. that thing trashed your door frame. Bears do crazy things this time of year trying to pack on weight. Never seen this before though.
