CO trepass fees
Considering elk hunting in Co this year.
Is anyone aware of any private property in CO that charges a reasonable trespass fee? Thanks, Darbydog |
there's so much National forest ground to hunt that unless you just got money burning a hole in your pocket, there's no reason to pay to hunt private lands.

check out this list...
buy a landowner tag? get to hunt the private land... http://www.huntinfool.com/landowner.asp |
Hey Sal that site is to expensive for me.
I was looking for tresspass fee property because some of my hunting partners can not climb the mountain like they use to and I was told there are a few places that have flatter land but charge a tresspass fee. |
not sure what trespass fees plus a tag will cost you elsewhere?
$50-100 day/person? plus tag? isn't a non res elk tag like 400 or more in CO? 6 days of hunting at 100/day plus a 400 tag is already 1000 dollars. what did you have in mind? just thought it might be an option... can try placing an ad on craigslist in denver, etc...

You might contact the CDOW. They might have a list of ranches that charge trespass fees.
