Colorado Elk and Bear
 

Everybody knows that September holds the elk’s rut; this is when you find elk in groups of 40-50, when the bulls are bugling and rounding up their cows. We have 6 openings for the middle of the month.. Sept. 12-16. If ya’ll look at your moon phase charts you’ll find that the moon is going to be in our favor and we'll pray for cool weather….

Also about our bear we have a abundance of color phase bears, I just got back on Sunday from up there, we’ve remodeled the shower and bathroom, and added a Cook shed/ kitchen. We drove around and put out trail cams (cuddyback pics coming) for a total of 10 hrs and saw four bears two boars pushing the 6.5' - 7’ line and couldn't tell about the other two but all four big bears, all four different colors; black, cinnamon, blonde, and good dark rust color.
