Alaska trip coming, question about outfitter
 

Well, the day is coming, in just 17 more months, that I have waited and saved for for years. My buddy, his dad, and I, are planning a trip to Alaska for the fall of ' 04. My buddy has been doing most of the guide service research, and we have narrowed it down to one, we think. If any one knows any thing good or bad or has any advice for us, please spout it out. We are looking at booking with Stoney River Lodge. We will be rifle hunting for Griz. moose, and either caribou of black bear. Planning on a Sept hunt. Any words or wisdom or advice about this guide or other guides that you have used and would recommend for the above mentioned game. We have talked with several past clients of this guide, and they all highly recommend them, but we have not yet sent any money. Still shopping. I also posted this in the west forum, but not much help over there. Thanks!

Can' t helpyou with the outfitters, but that sure sounds like one hell of a hunt!!! I' m going to Canada for moose this fall and I can' t wait
