Wolves delisted, maybe it will stick this time.

Hopefully we can start to get this under control here in North Central Idaho now. I think our state agencies will be able to actually manage the wild game in our area again now that the feds are out of the way. |

They're decimating the deer herd in Michigan's UP. It's about time.

I hope to see it stick - but I reckon only time will tell. As a fellow Idahoan, Robert, I'm with you. I've seen what they've done up around your part of the country - and they're getting fairly thick in our part of Idaho, too, now. I'll keep my fingers crossed, but I won't hold my breath!

Thanks for the post. I'm relieved to hear this news. I think wolves managed correctly can become a great game animal asset and have a place in wild country. Obviously, if they're mismanaged, they can become a plague. The jerk judge obviously had alot of bs suppositionregarding "genetics" and "breeding potential" (cry me a river...they're dogs, how'd you think they'd get along, breeding wise??[&:])

Like you said, it would be nice if the federal government would allow the wildlife managers to do their job. Wolves are a threat to the game, which in turn means that they are a threat to many areas' economies and peoples' livelihoods.
