"A" for effort. I expected to hike my but off for my muley this year but got lucky and caught one before he could drop into our canyon country. Mine is a little bigger, but you definitely deserve yours more. They all taste great anyways, just finished eating a mule deer roast sandwhich (the roast make great sandwhich meat after 8 hours in the crock pot with a couple bullion cubes, and onion, and some garlic.).

That's a dandy buck, milla!! Nice work. Nothing wrong with getting yours the way you did.

I have a 3x3 whitetail I killed a few years back that I call "The Outhouse Buck". I spotted him while walking out the front door of my cabin back in Wis. I, of course, was on my way to the outhouse...went back inside, jammed some shells in my rifle andkilled that deer while sitting on the stoop of my cabin...I almost felt guilty...until the first bite!!

Raghorn - I'm know exactly what you mean. I spent a week in Colorado in 07 hunting Mulie's. Saw several good 4x4 and 5x5, but they were always on private property when I saw them - I just couldn't connect. On the last day to hunt, I saw this monster and shot him (225 yards). I went DIY. Packing him out almost killed me (an easterner trying to breath at 10,000ft). Some of my greatest hunting memories came from this trip. I'm very proud of my very modest trophy! I can't wait to go back.
