Oh im sure your 1st bow elk is something special, congrats! I'm hoping to get mine come Sept in MT!!

I'm feeling lucky this year too, maybe it's cause I have a tag in my pocket, though a few years back I had an elk tag in my pocket for NM, I was naive, thought for sure I'd be coming home with an elk, didn't. I dunno though, this year I'm feelin a lil extra lucky, hopefully it's a preminition of things to come...certainly will keep you posted!

And in my book too. Nothing like a good fair chase bull elk.
