Best Hunt Ever!!!
 

It was the best hunt because of the friendship and the time around the campfire. I had five of my best friends and one of their nephews,(which is now a new friend) and it was great! We had several of our friends camped down the road, and we got together several times for a beerfest. When we were not drinking with them at night we had our own party around the campfire.

We had four cows down by the second morning at 8:30am. After that, the three guys with tags left, were not out for any more cows, just bulls. The bulls never panned out, but we still were very happy with the results. Almost every camp we talked to had a great hunt and success ratio. I hope all of you had just as great a time as we had!

If you look close, you'll notice there is one whole elk, and 6 halvles. You are right, it was an awesome hunt! We could not have had a better time. It was one of those hunts that is just good for your heart and soul!

Fantastic! Makes me wish I was there! I soon will be out in Idaho going after whitetails with three of my closest friends.Our tenth year out there going unguided.We have so much fun and enjoy the hunting immensely!

Sounds like a great time, nothing better than time spent in hunting camps with good friends and family. Great meat for the freezer, thanks for sharing.
