The problem with bears is that the fur will clot the blood, ive been on my hands and knees looking at pin drops, to to find that I walkd over him, I bet he's close by around a tree or in a gully. Was there any bubbles in the blood?

Tracked the bear for 2 days with dogs, bear went another 3 1/2 miles and lost the trail. Blood ran out at a mile and 1/2. We think it is still alive, that maybe we just winged it. I filled my mule deer tag on the way in to track the bear on Saturday at daylight, started a new post with pics, but I'll stick one here also.
