Looking for Help to Hunt Elk in Colorado GMU461 or GMU104
Hey All,
Looking for some help to find an area to hunt in either GMU.
Don't have to give up your favorite spot, just looking to get out and enjoy the hunt.
Your help is appreciated.
Thanks,
C.P.

Unless you have landowner contacts in gmu104, you can mark it off your list. I don't think there is any public land in 104.
Don't know any thing about 461, but I live in 104, and it's not well known for elk. There are a few pockets of elk, but they are all on private propertys.

Because they have tags, left. My 17 y/o son, who has never shown any interest in going hunting, asked me to take him out West before he graduates High School. So, these areas have some tags, left and thought I'd give it a shot.
