how hard was the winter kill in colorado unit 421/ between grand junction and glenwood springs?
 

I have drawn a muzzleloader tag formule deer in unit 421. I was hoping for elk tag also but didnt get it this year. I have hunted this area a few times and have always seen some nice mulies there. I am courious how hard the winter was in this area and how bad was the winter kill?

Not that bad at all. The state did cut quite a few units around the state though for numbers of tags.
