unit 34 nm archery
 

Hello all, first post on this site, looks like a great forum!

I had a very lucky year as far as nm draw goes, I got my 34 archery elk tag sep 1-22, my rifle antelope tag, and my deer tag, looks like a fun season!

I am planning to go scouting in unit 34 soon, can anyone give me some suggestions on where I should spend some time? I am definately not going to be holding out for the big bouda elk, I am just looking for either a mature bull or mature cow, mostly I am going for that delicious elk meat!

Scout around Scott Able Canyon, Sun Spot, and along Aqua Chiquita. Where are you from? Good luck.
