I went to wy. in the nouth east part of the state . Wy. has a list of land owner who let you hunt on their property.I payed $50 a day and they let me camp on their land . First year I shot a 12'' then went again and shot a 14 1/2''. It was fun and eazy compared to most of the hunts I went on.Good luck

Water holes would be your best bet for archery....

would definitely look into montana region SE, i thinks it 7, block management is a terrific program, the landowners/ranchers let you hunt on their land, on average 5,000-10,000 acres, and you'll probably be the only party hunting on a given day. goats everywhere-- my son and I took two nice bucks on first day. hats off to MT for a great program, keeping public hunting alive and well.
