RE: caribou hunt 2008 DEAL
On one of our infamous excursions, I came across Caribou. Now, I have never seen a caribou, but this time I have tasted one before when Dalton bagged one in Canada on a previous hunting adventure before I knew him.

That doesn't seem like such a good deal to me. Since the date on this original post was March I wonder if this is coming from Tutlick which went belly up after taking thousands of dollars from unsuspecting hunters.

RE: caribou hunt 2008 DEAL
Funny how the cost went up big time. It used to be about 3 grand. 3 years ago I went to Newfoundland for a woodland caribou hunt for one animal with a guide and full meal plan at a great lodge for about $2500. It was all spot and stalk with lots of quality animals and was a great time and a real bargain. I am not sure what that hunt goes for now though.

CI,
I wouldn't count on NL being an option for Caribou. I've heard from a few different people who live there that the season may be closed next year, even for locals. Yotes are destroying the population. |
