I've got two bipods weighting down my gear box because that's where they stay. I got a set of shooting sticks that weigh less and to me are much more versatile than my bipods.

just my .02

I didn' t even know anyone but Harris made bipods, or at least what I would call a bipod after owning Harris' s. :D:D:D Get the picture? Get a Harris!!! They cost about $10 bucks more than other man' s similar models, but I' ll never own another brand than Harris again.

If you don' t get a Harris, I won' t be your friend anymore :D, but more seriously, don' t get a pivoting pod, sure it seems like a good idea, but there are too many moving parts to give a good solid position, you' ll have it pivoting on you when you need it to hold on a record breaker, I guarantee it!!!

Allow me to reiterate:

Get a Harris.

My Harris works OK, but it' s heavy and has sharp edges that cut my hand on recoil. Reminds me of the ' 57 Chevy: built when steel was cheap.

For the life of me I don' t know why somebody hasn' t built one lighter but just as functional. After all, it is the 21st Century!
