Default New Mexico Oryx

Anyone send in for New Mexico oryx hunts?? I sent mine in today, Hope I'm lucky this year !! They are due 2/1.

I sent mine in today too. I put in for the depredation and the once in a lifetime hunt. I am crossing my fingers. I have seen them quite a bit driveing through, can't wait to get one!

This is my one and only dream hunt. I hope to someday take an oryx in New Mexico, but until I can save the money, I'll just continue to dream. Those orxy, in my opinion, are one of the most prettiest animals out there.

Treedog-- sorry I'm not to adept at these computer skills. Much better at chasing elk in the Rockies LOL Anyway an Oryx is another name for a gemsbuck. They are a desert antelope from the Kalahari Desert in Nambia. The have a long black spike horn usually around 36" to 48". They are big about the size of a spike bull. They have a tan body with black stockings & a brautiful black & white face. They have been known to kill a lion with those long horns!
