Man, what a problem to have. Sounds like you're doing great. Turning your call to the side, or even away from, the bull should help a lot. We do that with turkeys all the time to make it sound like the hen has moved off. That way the gobbler is SUPPOSED to come in closer.

Pow Duck, thanks for the response and I will be giving that a try as well come next season. I wish all my season would go as well as this past season as far as the calling goes. And thanks for the condolences, he was a good friend and partner for more years than I can remember.
