28 1/2 mulie vs 338
I took this rather shaky video of one of my clients shooting a descent 3x3 in 2006. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iG8_VsHwkHM the picture is the same buck shot on the video.

RE: 28 1/2 mulie vs 338
Accutaly he is a main frame 3x3 with eye gaurds that makes him a 4x4 or a 4 point muley.Decent buck.
Thanks for sharing BJ |

RE: 28 1/2 mulie vs 338
Sound of creakypickup door opening at the end of YouTube video clip?
Might upset some of the purists; fine by me though.... One of my favorite pieces ofmultiple useequipment from my ranching days: camoflage/deception unit, backpack, benchrest, heater (or air conditioner), and pack horse all in one. Like 338WinMags too. |
RE: 28 1/2 mulie vs 338
You mean that wasn't someone "grunting" to get them settled???
Ah yes.....the "mobile blind" is a luxury to be sure!!! Especially on cold morning, north wind howling, wind chill in the teens, chances of seeing a nice deer slim to none as in Texas they get nervous as a long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs when the blows hard!!! |
RE: 28 1/2 mulie vs 338
Yes I never got out of the truck. He did though. We pulled up about 300 yards out and parked behind a bush. No deer spooked, and the guy can shoot. Opportunty knocked and all was legal. You'll see it stated the same on my website. Where I hunt in CO that called a 3x3, eye guards don't count.

RE: 28 1/2 mulie vs 338
Most western states don't really count the eyeguards when describing muleys. Sure, if you score it for B&C you count them but when referring to it I'd call it a 3x3 also, or a 3x3 with eyeguards.
