this was from last fall my bud is a guide up by our camp and someone from out west shot it this is what they look like in new hampshire and were hopin for a bigger one next month mama's that is

You would figure a moose with that size of body would have a bigger rack. Nice moose though.

Aren't all moose BIG? I know my Yukon moose was. You just don't realize just how big they are until ya start taking as much meat off of the neck as you would from a whole whitetail deer!

Yah the cow moose i shot a few years ago was huge, had the rear end jacked right up to the top of our 8 foot garage and its whole front shoulders were still on the ground, sure get a whole new respect for them when your bow hunting them and you get within 40yds of them.

That is about what most moose up here have though there is some hugh racks none the less. Most moose here run 700 - 800 pounds on average tho some may get up around the 1200 pound mark..( dressed )
