RE: Dall Sheep
Hey guys, I've got another question for you. A couple of you have been talking about "plasic boots." What are these? The only thing I can think of are packs and I wouldn't think they would be very good in the mountains. Thanks...

RE: Dall Sheep
yuppers, they are great in the MT's. Koflach makes a great looking boot. My only worries are my wide feet. They all seem a wee bit narra. They add ankle support for climbing steep stuff, shale slides etc. Dont use them on flat ground however LOL!

RE: Dall Sheep
I don't use the Koflach's, but I have heard good things about them. I use the Cabela's Meindl Canadian boot. Great boot!!! No need to break them in. Try them with a Thorlo or Smartwool sock, and it will feel just like a pair of sneakers.

RE: Dall Sheep
THEY ACTUALLY AREN'T BAD ON FAIRLY FLAT GROUND. THEY DO ARTICULATE AT THE ANKLE. PACKING MOOSE MEAT THEY ARE GREAT. GROUND MAY BE "FLAT" BUT UNEVEN.
