MD hunter / MT Muley
 

This is my buddy Phil from MD. He got this guy 4 hours into a 5 day hunt, then hunted horseback with his camera for the remaining time. It was his first hunt "out west" and his first muley, but if I know Phil, it won't be his last.

The shot placement was a bit higher than he would have liked, but turned out perfectly. The 30-06 round severed the spinal cord without touching any loins. This first photo is how he laid as we approached him initially, exactly where he stood prior to the shot.
