Lets talk elk antlers for a second
I have always been under the impression that a 6x6 bull was considered a "Royal"
and a 7x7 was a "Monarch" So what are 5x5's and 8x8's? |

ORIGINAL: Crittergiter I have always been under the impression that a 6x6 bull was considered a "Royal" and a 7x7 was a "Monarch" So what are 5x5's and 8x8's? We refer to bulls as herd bulls, raghorns, sattelite bulls, spikes, etc It probably comes from the whacky names people use to give the individual points like royal, eyeguard, guard, dagger point, brow tine etc etc. Serious people refer to individual points as G1 through G7 etc that way everyone knows what you're talking about. |
RE: Lets talk elk antlers for a second
Actually a Monarch is an 8x8, an Imperial is a 7x7, and a Royal is a 6x6. as for anything smaller im not sure if they have a name.
