RE: Bullet selection for moose?

I shoot a 7mm rem mag/Barnes TSX for elk and moose. Accuracy is superb and terminal performanceis amazingon larger game. I have also shot both animalswith other offerings, so if I had tosuggest a secondary of the bunch it would be a Nosler Partition.

Never had much luck with the TBBC's in regards toaccuracy but it certainly would be a great choice if your gun likes them.

While i love the Ballistic Tip for deer I wouldn't use it for larger game personally.

Seirra GK's, Corelokts, etchave always been in my mind a deer bullet. IMHO larger then deer gamerequires a bullet designed for the task, this means a premium constructed bullet that will retain weight for deeper pentration and still provide a good wound channel. I like the insurance afforded by premium bullets.

My choice would be the Nosler Accu-bond.
If you dont use the Accu-bonds you should go with the TBBC.
