All my sheep hunts have been here in Colorado. In 98---I took a 7/8 curl----7 year old Rocky Mtn Bighorn. In 2000, I played cherpa for my better half----she shot a 3/4 curl.

We hunted the same unit for both rams---fact is she shot her ram in the same bowl where I got mine.

both were killed with 30/06-----mine was @ 161 yards, her's was 249 yards according to the Bushnell range finder CB

I want you all to know that I think: YOU SUCK!!!!

I've dreamt of hunting dall's, stone's, & bighorns my whole life. I don't know if I'll ever get to go. Its just so darn expensive. I mean good lord who can afford $15,000 for a hunt.

Aren't you a Montana resident,Shato? Wouldn't you not have to hire an outfitter? Just hunt several units after applying for tags?

I understand that there's an OTC area for Rocky Mountain Bighorns, but it's tough, and there's like a 2-3% success rate or something.
