RE: whats a unit?

A unit is how the DOW divides up the state into game management units. The dividing lines are usually rivers, roads, county lines etc. This way they can issue a certain number of cow tags in each unit to manage the herd better. The application forms have a map with all the boundaries. Or go to the website I'm sure it will be there also.

Actually, I find that a really good question.

When Randy Johnson pitched for the Seattle Mariners he got the nickname "The Big Unit". I always wondered what in the heck that meant! He is 6'9'' tall FYI.
