Northern Maine Guides

Anybody have recommendations for a big game guide in the North Woods Maine? Personal experiences appreciated! Looking to find an outfit in Aroostook County.

I hunted Black Bear with Nelson Cole & Son Outfitters 3 years ago. This guy is top notch, every hunter harvested or had a chance at a bear. he really works hard for you http://www.uninets.net/~ihunt4u/.

In Aroostock County you will not find a better lodge or hunting experience than at the Oxbow Lodge. They provide all kinds of hunts whether for deer, bear, moose or grouse. The accomadations are second to none. The lodge is beautiful and you will never leave the table hungry. Check them out at www.oxbowlodge.com

Thanks, shedhead. I had another fella that I know recommend Oxbow, and I have their brochure already. Looks like a good outfit. I already booked with Stonybrook for Sept., but next year.....?
