Montana Mountain Goat Tag!!!!!!!!!
 

A good buddy of mine and my younger brother both drew a Mountain Goat Tag in 329 (Montana: Hellroaring-Slough Creek outside Gardiner). I am looking for info on the area, mainly the best way to access it. We are starting scouting next weekend and are looking to be pointed in the right direction. There are 3-4 access points that vary from 1-7 miles from the area. Mill Creek, Boulder River, Gardiner/Jardine, Snowbank. Any help is greatly appreciated.

The trail head in Jardine will provide you with better access than the one up Mill creek. I have seen several sheep during season, on Monitor peak & Sheep mountain. Bring your elk tag with you, the early rifle season for elk opens on the same day as Moose, Sheep & Mountain Goat.
