I never spent over $200 in a year until was almost 40. Now I spend about $2000 a year in draw fees and required licenses for draws in 10 states.

Probably spend $1000 a hunt beyond the tag when travel out of state. This year am drawn in CO for elk so that is a $500 tag. Buying a TX pronghorn tag so another $1200. A few draws left to be announced but long odds on those hunts other than WY pronghorn.

Have a cougar tag for UT this winter. Did out of state turkey hunts in MO and UT back in April and May.

So around $7000 this year between draws, licenses, tags and travel.

Probably was $5000 last year. I enjoy being out in the woods and the high desert. The rest of my vacation time is spent seeing family and friends. People ask what I would do if I hit the lottery...easy...hunt more!!

If I had drawn an Elk, a big horn sheep, or a mountain goat, it would have been $1200 a piece. Non resident tags in Nevada are pretty ridiculous. If I stay here much longer, I'll probably become a resident. It then drops down to $120 a piece.

Just found out today that I didn't get drawn for MT Moose, Goat, or Sheep, so I'll be getting a nice $2300 check in the near future. Also, be getting back about $1000 from CO. Just in time to send WY about $250 just for PP's. I hate the saying you gotta pay to play but thats what this sport is coming to.

Mallard, I think the Waterfowl Stamp's more than $5. When I got mine last year it cost me $20. I thought I spent a lot, looking at these posts though, I look cheap

I was drawn for a Montana non-resident Big Game Combo at $643 (Elk, Deer, Upland Game & Fishing), I have an application in for Montana non-resident antelope at $205 + Special Elk District at $9 + $20 for preference points. I'm probably going to spend $50 on preference points for a Wyoming Elk tag this summer for next years drawing and my resident Texas super combo hunting and fishing license (up to 5 deer, 4 turkeys, upland game and fishing) was around $65.

That puts me a little under $1,000 if I get drawn for the antelope license.
