The only place I've hunted elk and been successful is in the breaks, but the only other place we hunted elk was up by Libby where my brother still lives.
I feel like I know my way around the breaks pretty well and my mother still lives in Glasgow so I am going to be doing this as a visit/hunting trip and the breaks are manageable to hunt with only a night or two out overnight and spending the other nights in Glasgow.
It looks like a 100% draw on cow elk in district 622 which is generally the area that we have always hunted. I may put in for 1st and 2nd choice bull tags and 3rd choice cow tag and not pay the bonus point.
