When are we going to be able to hunt elk in TN!

TWRA has reintroduced them,and the elk have flourished since there's no wolves, now when can we hunt those suckers? It'll probably take about 10 years till we can hunt them with the lottery system, but I guess I would have to go to Kentucky to hunt elk, in the meantime.

well the fact we where denied on the appeal to get the additional 300 from the elk island herd may hurt it abit. if you will check up on the website they are trying to get plans together and maybe offer a VERY select 2007 elk hunt draw. I don't look for it to make it though, next year maybe. but then again being the lucky SOB who wins the draw....fat chance for me I bet.

It is in absolutely no way more important here in TN that you can shoot a wolf 2000 miles away from here than that we can kill elk here! :D
