Antelope hunt in wyoming HELP

Hi everyone, my best friend and I are planning an antelope hunt in wyoming for next fall, we have been going over maps upon maps, and every time we think we have come up with a good area it seems like something just doesn't seem like it will be any good. So we decided on area 16 it isjust east ofBuffalo towards the North central part of wyoming and west of Gillette. My question is, does anyone know of this area and is it any good? We were going to try unit 22 or 23 but it looks like there really isn't much for public hunting or easy access to it anyway. I am not looking for directions on where to go just an idea if we are going to a decent spot or if we should rethink our game plan. I appreciate any help and/or addvice. thanks in advance.....ttl

zone 47 ,Shirely Basin area outside of the town of Medicine Bow. It's a good area with quite a bit of public land and although it's been a few years there was at one time some private with access.
But pleanty of BLM and if you're willing to wear out some shoe leather and get away from the roads some nice bucks to be had.

RE: Antelope hunt in wyoming HELP

I hunted area-22 last year. We did not have a problem finding antelope on public land. All three of us killed bucks around the 14" mark, on opening day.

Good luck,

WK
