Hey all, great forum ya got here. I'll be elk hunting in the thicker stuff this year & need to get up to speed on calling. What are your picks for best instructional dvd ?

Primos Mastering the art of Calling. Video usaully can be bought with the calls in a combo pack.

ElkNut1's videos are the best bar none. You have to get them. He's a member on here, and has a website.http://www.elknut.com I bought his videos and couldn't believe how good they where. If you really want to learn how to call you need his videos.

I second what shato said. Check out Elknut's products... very informative. I bought the primos dvd and didn't learn a whole lot. It basically just introduced all of their products and how to use them. Elknut on the other hand does a great job of helping you to understand the different sounds that elk make and what they are saying to each other... and how you can join the conversation.

I have elknuts vidieo "worse than wolves" and he talks elk. Highly recommended.

Just to bring it back to the top, I will highly recommend Elknut's videos and don't foret to get a couple of CD's to play in your truck just driving to work or to the mountains.

Another vote for ElkNut. The videos are great, but CDs are the best. I keep mine in the truck year round. Road trips are great for getting in some practice.
