I am going to try a first time antelope hunt this year, and need any informationI can get on area 6 or 7 in easternwyoming. I would like to stay in the easternpart of wyoming.Iwill be goingby myself.I am willing to pay a reasonable trespass fee. What can I expect as far as antelope numbers and horn size go ?Also what is the best way to hunt antelope ?Any advice on areas and how to hunt would be appreciated. Thank you

Some of the Thunder Basin National Grasslands are in those areas. You will be able to find some 15-16" in those areas but it may take some time. Most os the public land is in area 27 but it is harder to draw. 13-14" goats are the most common. Get a map from the USGS or wherever you can find one of the TBNG and you will be good to go.

gabby2,
I recommend putting in for a hunt area that is mostly public land as your first choice. You will be suprised at the number of animals you will see on public land.
