Idaho has to be somewhere near the top.

I would go by percentage of public land vs. actual acreage.
Nevada is 79% public (Mostly BLM)
Wyoming is 63% public (Mostly BLM with a lot of Nat'l Forrest)
Sorry Idaho . . . only 22%.
And who said California!!?? 14%. Which is more than I would have quessed.

yeah idaho has to be more than that! there is way more public than private land! At least up north.
