Dall Sheep
 

Has anyone here went on a Dall Sheep hunt? I think they are beautiful animals and would love to have one hanging on my wall. Can anyone shed some light on the subject? What should i expect on a dall hunt? I would love to get one regardless of weapon, but would prefer to do it with the bow. Anyone have any experience with the bow on these animals. Please let me hear some input.

I have only done self hunts but would recemend you check out Northwest Territory outfitters especially for bow hunts. Lots of good ones and very large average on rams. Try Kelly Hougon.

after looking around it looks like the average outfitter costs is 10k +

pretty expensive. But if i had the cash, boy would i put that cash up in a heartbeat.

I went along on my uncle's hunt as a packer a few years ago. Dang that was fun. I'd like to get one of my own some day. Definately a physically demanding hunt.
