Anyone recommend any good dvds? I just bought Monster Bulls 4 and can't stop watching it!

I have Primos Big Bulls 8 and 9 and they are both pretty good. They are primarily archery dvdsexcept each has 1 muzzleloader hunt as well, so you see a lot of up-close action. In Big Bulls 9 you actually watch a guy shoot a bull from 1 yard... it's pretty awesome.

I wonder if anyone can recommend "The Big Game" by Dury (pardon the spelling) outdoors? They advertise it alot on HNI.

This sounds pretty exciting but I woould only be interested if it was fair chase on public land. Do you know if thats the case?

Yeah, shooting a bull from one yard has got to be a little close to impossible in the wild, I guess, but that would be really scary,IMO, whether it was a fair chase or not.

Sounds cool.(the DVDs) I might put some on my Christmas list.

I shot a bull elk at around 4 yards, public land in Idaho. It's not as hard as you'd think. If the bulls are calling and rutting it's even easier. the caller gets behind the hunter and the bull is trying to get to the caller, he has to go past the hunter.

I admit 1 yard is lucky/tough, and even scary, but its doable.

Tangozulu, the Primos team claims to be 100% fair chaise. As far as public or private land, I'm not really sure. My guess is private land. They would have the money and probably wouldn't want other hunters stepping on their toes while trying to film. I'm not sure though, just my best guess.
