First Bear

Sept 06 did a boat based hunt in Alaska. 4 hunters on the boat got 4 Bears in 2 days. We saw 60+ in total.
The fishing was also pretty darn good.
The Bears were feastin' on the salmon streams.
I shot this one with a .325 WSM. Rifle is a Kimber Montana 8400.
Will probably be the only Black Bear I ever get to shoot, so I was rapt to get such a good one.

Congrats! I thought you said you were skunked on your last trip? Or was that another one when you only got a Wolverine?
