We have buffalo hunts in SD and TX but they aren't free ranging, they are on large ranches. We do have one in Saskatchewan that are wild free ranging buffs..

The antelope hunts in particular look good on that site.

That's what he's saying. There's wild bison herds in Alaska in Delta Junction, the Farewell burn, and the Copper River basin. All are drawing hunts and the odds are slim. They're all plains bison that were brought up from Moiese, MT in the early 1900's. There's been recent talk of reintroducing wood bison in select areas, but the feds have been a real thorn in the side of those plans. Once in a blue moon wood bison from the Yukon wander into the eastern interior of AK.
