How hard to get a Muley tag in CO & WY?
Just wondering how hard it is to get drawed for an archery tag in Colorado and Wyoming. I'm wanting to go Mule Deer hunting next year somewhere and have been leaning towards Nebraska or one of the Dakotas since they have OTC tags. I know there are good Mule Deer populations in CO & WY also and would like to consider one of those states. I hate relying on a draw, but if the odds are decent, I would not mind trying. Thanks for the help guys.

RE: How hard to get a Muley tag in CO & WY?
Here is the deal: If there is public land where you are applying then it can be hard but if it is 90 private landthen you may have a shot in getting one.If you go guidedon private land then most likley the outfitter has you apply in a zone that they know has 100% draw.Go to the states site and look at there previous years draws and odds, that will give you an idea of where to go. Also look at the maps and see where theBLMland is and match it up with the statistics and draw odds. Here is another idea, if you getother hunters together search the internet for ranchers that you can pay for a tresspass hunt. Good luck!
