Uh, you mean bull? I've never heard of an elk being referred to as a hog.
There's another forum for hogs.

Sorry about that Im he's like a big bull so i decide hog goes all with being big so thats why I said hog.

After you have been hunting for a few years you will learn that large bulls or bucks are often called"hog"and many other things.

The elk here in PA are free roaming, no fences. This bull is living in the wild. This year 59K put in for 50 tags.

He is a true monster.
Here is a bull that I ran into while attempting to get close to the HOG.
