Look into the regulations of it being a Wilderness area if your still planning to go this route. And plan on some cold weather, they are getting snow in this area already ( mid Sept ). Plan on getting horses if you want to do the wilderness area very far in. Spent alot of time up there many years back, but it was always fishing and camping not hunting.

Snow that would be great, whats the old saying? if you dont like the weather, just wait a minute it will change. I bring everything from rain gear to extreme cold weather gear, you can never be to prepared.
