Just keep the wind in your face and the elk will never smell ya!
(lol)
Seriously . . . try cutting some pine boughs and put them in with your camo's in a large trash bag used for yardwork. They aren't scented like the ones that go under the sink. The pine will defeat any "plastic" odor you may pick up. And the elk love it!

Good luck.

True to both of the statements. Good luck and post pics when you return.

I use those big ziploc bags 5 gallon or so, found some in the school section at Target the other day. Add my camo and anything else I want to keep scent free then I add a couple puffs of Fireless Smoke scented wind detector. Depending on the area I am hunting in, Sage when I'm hunting in Utah with Dad, Cedar when I'm hunting at home in OK. When I get real daring maybe I'll try the "in heat scents". Just leave them sealed up untill your ready to hunt, I would even walk 1/2 way to your stand before getting them out.
Good luck and good hunting
