MT Archery Elk Hunting
 

Counting down the days.Going to try and take Friday sept.1st off of work and head over to HD 201.Going to leave Thurs. after work and set up camp and a little fishing.Then do a little grouse hunting Friday and locate some bulls friday evening.Should be a blast.Nice Bulls in there the year before last.Then I like to hunt HD 201 and 203 closer to home and easy to hunt after work and on weekends.I might take my nephew he went to take his bowhunting class tonight.
Do any of you hunt these areas?I called in another hunter in HD 201 last year and was he embarrassed.My son and I got a good laugh out of it though.

AHHH hahahahahahaha!--That is funny

A good friend of mine and I hunted the breaks for two weeks last year and one night as it's just dark and we meet up, we start heading back to campand hearanother bugle (both Elk and other hunters around). It sounds perfect--a little too perfect with no big HUFF at the end. It's across the river and downstream of us about 300 yards (on the opposite bank, but it's too dark to see).My buddy yells at him"GO BACK TO CAMP!!!!"--there is silence, then you hear "F--K YOU" from the "elk"--we started laughing like crazy:D:D:D
