how old do you have to be to hunt elk in colorado? i'm being told i have to be a seinor in highschool and be on the honnor roll?[>:]

I believe you need to be 12 years old and have a valid hunters education card (but if your parents told you those other requirements I'd have to go with them...).

im not sure but if its like it is here in montan you only need to be 12 if you complete a hunters education program but if not you have to be 18 here

Hunters education and 12 years old in order to purchase a big game license (elk, deer, moose, sheep, etc...) in Colorado.

However, there is no age restriction to tag along with an adult and learn the ropes.

I would guess his parents. He is being told HE has to be 18 and on the honor roll. The first sounds like a personal preference, the second, a good goal.

i'm 12 gonna be 13 in june, and i was told that i had to be that old by my grandpa[:'(]but i guess he's gonna pay for everything. thanks

i have no clue why he wont take me now. i have a 4.0 and straight A's now[8D]
